the petaluma national a warm welcome. good afternoon. i'm tori campbell. the little legal hometown heroes are almost back home. the crews followed the team to pennsylvania where they came in third in the little league world series. alex savidge joinsus from sfo where the team landed -- join us from sfo where the team landed just over an hour ago. >> reporter: the boys are back home from what was a magical run that took them all the way to pennsylvania. these young players have been on the road playing baseball for 27 straight days. they just landed an hour ago at sfo and they got an unbelievable homecoming. >> petaluma! petaluma! [ cheers ] >> reporter: this was the scene inside terminal 1 at sfo as friends and family chanted and waved signs. the petaluma national all-stars stepped off the plane as heroes. they played third in the world in the little league world series. they came up just short in the u.s. championship game on saturday in pennsylvania, losing to tennessee, but they won their consolation game on sunday and the boys are certainly proud of the way they fought. >> we just wan
